Re-discovering my marks! Figure Drawing!

There’s nothing better than drawing with a crowd of artist, drinking some brew, and chattin’ up about our lines and scribbles! Yes! Figure drawing session! Yesterday, I went to the Capitol Hill Figure Drawing Session. This was my first session since graduation last spring. It was refreshing and exhilarating to make marks with charcoal on large newsprint, again. It brought back all the joy I had when I was an undergrad at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

To all the art students, take advantage of those free figure-drawing sessions. And to my art professors, you were all on my mind with each mark and arm swooshes.
